Often voted Britain's best zoo, and it earns it. Huge, beautifully planted and full of 'I didn't know they had that' moments. The miniature railway saves little legs. Give it a full day; a half-day feels rushed.
Our recommendation. Wear walking shoes and download the map. Islands and Monsoon Forest are the indoor wet-weather heroes.
